DESCRIPTION:We will be running another MSF Level-2 Coach Training Clinic on Sunday July 28 at NJMP Lightning track. We are seeking qualified senior coaches/instructors to join us as Mentors.\n\nAs a Mentor\, you will be helping us train the next group of Coaches. You will be roleplaying specific types of drivers at each on-track session.\n\nIf you have not mentored before\, don’t worry. We will be providing guidance on what to do and how to effectively role play before and during the event.\n\nThe full training will take place on SUNDAY July 28 at NJMP Lightning track. (We will also be at Thunderbolt on Monday July 29th. You are encouraged to come for both days.)\n\nWhile we do not require a two day commitment from all mentors. We would definitely need some of you to stay for both Sunday and Monday. We may have some candidates who are very close to passing with further mentoring. DESCRIPTION:We are holding an HPDE event coupled with our Motorsports Safety Foundation Level 2 class.  We can use seasoned coaches as mentors for the MSF portion of the event which will take place on Sunday Only.  The MSF 2 class will consist of classroom sessions as well as role play scenarios.  If you are interested in obtaining your MSF 2 certification and you are a seasoned coach with an existing ITS under your belt  please contact Ken Eviner at KenE@hookedondriving.com Ken is handling our Instructor development program and can answer all your MSF questions. Mentoring is a great way to give back to the HPDE community and share some of the knowledge and experiences that you have picked up over the years with newer coaches. Lunch is provided for attendees\n\nRegistration for the MSF 2 class – (MSF2 Candidates and Mentors) is:  MSF Level 2 Candidates and Mentors\n\nWe can also use coaches not wanting to participate in the class as regular right seat coaches for our A-Group Coached Novice run group as we will be holding a regular HPDE event those two days – see next line.

DESCRIPTION:Our next event\, Autocross #4 (Sat.\, July 27) is a part of this year’s Porschefest! Sign-up below on MSR.reg.  Taste of Autocross allows participants to ride along with any instructor to experience the thrills of driving and maneuvering through a course! DESCRIPTION:On July 26 – 28\, one of the oldest organizations in vintage racing\, and the only one with a national presence\, the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) is coming to the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville\, NJ with the New Jersey Lottery SpeedTour.\n\n\nFormula Cars from Around the World to Compete Head-to-Head\nIn addition to an array of vintage cars\, the event will feature racing from Formula Race Promotions\, Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) and Formula Regional America Championship (FR Americas)\, which are both led by Race Director\, Scott Goodyear—the former racecar driver and television personality—who will also be on site!\n                                                                                          \nThe New Jersey Lottery SpeedTour features F4 U.S. Championships and FR Americas wheel-to-wheel racing! The Formula Regional Americas Championship and Formula 4 United States Championship are the first two steps on the Road to F1. The two series will descend on New Jersey Motorsports Park’s 14-turn Thunderbolt Raceway for Rounds 10-12 of their 18-round Championship season. When the lights go out at NJMP\, five countries and 14 states across the USA will be represented across the two championships.\n\nThis event is in partnership with the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA). SVRA is committed to presenting the best possible experience for competitors and fans. DESCRIPTION:I’d like to invite you and your club to participate in the Wildly Wonderful Summer Market & Cruise-In at Summit Point Motorsports Park on Saturday\, July 13\, 2024.  Bring a few or bring your whole crew to cruise-in and enjoy the market and races that day.  The cruise-in portion will be relaxed like last year’s event and located on the grassy area to the right side after entering the Motorsports Gate. There is no fee for cruise-in participants. The theme will be “Margaritaville – Racecars in Paradise”.  Feel free to get your tropics on and decorate your whip – Jimmy Buffet style. \nThe charitable organization for this event will be the Jefferson County Community Ministries. We are conducting a food drive so please bring a non-perishable food item for the cause.  See attached flyers and feel free to share the information.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the WDCR SCCA Solo Level 1 Autocross School on the Potomac Pad surface at Summit Point Motorsports Park on Saturday\, July 13\, 2024. \nThis Level 1 school is designed to “get your feet wet” with information and time behind the wheel. You’ll learn how to prepare for the competition event\, including doing a tech inspection on your car\, working the different positions of the event\, walking the course\, and driving the course. One of our seasoned national-level instructors will ride with you\, help you navigate the course with great precision\, and get you started on your car control needs. \n \nWDCR SCCA Solo Level 2 Autocross School on the Potomac Pad surface at Summit Point Motorsports Park on Sunday\, July 14\, 2024. \nThis is NOT a Beginner school and will not cover the basics needed to attend. After having experienced a Level 1 school or having some experience with Autocross\, Level 2 is the next step in becoming a faster driver with much better control.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for High-Performance Driving Education with Time Trials on Saturday\, July 13\, and Sunday\, July 14\, at Summit Point’s fun and fabulous Shenandoah Circuit! \n\nThe Summit Point HPDE & TT Program is excited to announce the tentative schedule 2024! HPDE & TT events are expected on the following dates at the following Summit Point circuits: \n\nMarch 2-3 – Main Circuit\nMarch 23-24 – Shenandoah Circuit\nApril 26-28 – Main Circuit\nJune 1-2 – Jefferson Circuit (NEW DATE for 2024)\nJuly 13-14 – Shenandoah Circuit\nAugust 17-18 – Shenandoah Circuit\nSeptember 7-8 – Shenandoah Circuit\nOctober 5-6 – Main Circuit (NEW DATE for 2024)\n\nWe are particularly excited about the new date on Jefferson. The June event does away with a too-lengthy gap between the late-April and mid-July events. Its addition to the calendar means the program will continue to hold events on each of Summit Point Motorsports Park’s three unique and challenging circuits. Finally\, moving the Jefferson event from October to June enables us to add an additional date on Summit Point’s Main Circuit for 2024. \n*NOTE: Depending on the national Time Trials schedule\, Time Trials may not be offered at every event on this schedule. Time Trial drivers should look for announcements from the Time Trials Competition Director in the coming weeks. \nWhile we are confident that this schedule is firm\, we do not yet have a contract with Summit Point. Therefore this schedule is subject to change.
