Animal House 3: Over the Top!

I’m never really sure why Joe Esposito’s song made famous by “The Karate Kid“ movie pops into my head just before each Awards Night celebration, but it always seems a fitting preface to the event. Awards Night partnered with the HOD 3-day Fall Finale at Watkins Glen is the perfect crescendo to the year as we head into hibernation and repair mode before next season.

This years “Animal House” (see also: Part 1, Part 2) took us to another level. In years past, we’d celebrated in a rather casual format: restaurants, homes, just “sending it” – if you will. This year we decided to kick it up to 11 and move our celebration to the scenic Finger Lakes Distilling, just a couple of miles up the east side of Lake Seneca from downtown Watkins Glen.

And rather than recount the entire ceremony, you get the chance to relive it thanks to Brian S!

It was truly an awesome weekend, with great friends and all new adventures!
