Raleigh, N.C., 21 Oct. 2025 – Operation Motorsport® announced today that the inaugural CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS will move to a one-day, six-hour endurance race format on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR).

The adjustment — made in collaboration with sanctioning partner USAC Racing, VIR, teams and supporting partners — is designed to focus resources, strengthen the participant experience and ensure the continued growth and sustainability of this uniquely meaningful event.

“The amended six-hour format lets us focus the energy and excitement into one powerful day—without changing what makes this weekend so special,” said Diezel Lodder, chairman and co-founder of Operation Motorsport. “The Heroes Dinner, the Remembrance Service, and our shared sense of community on this Veterans/Remembrance Day all remain. With most racing seasons wrapped up, it’s also a smoother lift for our teams and partners. We’re proud to deliver an event that continues our mission of Veteran Recovery Through Motorsport.”

The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance will be broadcasted live for a global audience on FLO Racing“Most of the teams who will be competing have connections to the military,” Lodder said. “In some cases, drivers or team owners have served. Then we have Resilience Racing and Team BRIT. That team is an inspiration, coming from the UK and the US and partnering with Skip Barber with their all-hand control cars. Then we have names you know like Random Vandals Racing and Powersports Garage supporting the four Operation Motorsport cars. We’re excited to host our first event with such amazing teams signed up.”

Teams who are currently not entered are invited to join this truly unique race weekend that blends endurance racing with purpose, remembrance and recovery. To review entry requirements and join the grid, click here.

The CrowdStrike Veterans Race of Remembrance Powered by AWS represents a first-of-its-kind event in North America — a competition that blends endurance racing with commemoration and purpose. “By streamlining the event, we’re ensuring that every participant, volunteer, and veteran can fully engage in the experience,” said Tiffany Lodder, executive director of Operation Motorsport. “This change helps us build a stronger foundation for the future — one that keeps our mission thriving for years to come.”
