Field Trip to the 2022 Riverfront Roar

The Marietta Riverfront Roar is a full July weekend of live music, fireworks, good food, and thrilling tunnel boat racing on the Ohio River Levee! Come enjoy the best in powerboat racing with FREE admission, get to see the boats close up, and meet the drivers and crews who travel from all over the country to race here!

Having started in 2000, Riverfront Roar is an American Power Boat Association sanctioned Powerboat Superleague race which draws more than 40,000 spectators over the three-day weekend. Powerboat Nationals referee Suzy Shepard calls Marietta the “best venue ever!”

Other attractions for the annual event include the Rollin’ Oldies Car Show on Sunday, Saturday’s Run for the Roar 5k, which attracts hundreds of runners and walkers from throughout the area, a kid zone with inflatables, and the ever-popular traveling Columbus Zoo.
