WDCR Virtual Racing League @ Oran Park

Hey there WDCR! Another week means we’ve got another week of iRacing action!

Last week, our superstars took on the hills of upstate New York at Watkins Glen International, where we had an absolute classic! In the Porsche Cup class, DJ Alessandrini took the win after coming out ahead of the great battle between himself and defending champion Morgan Burkhard, with Christopher Laprus coming up third. In TCR, Ken Houseal and Elias Roman had an incredible multi-lap battle that unfortunately ended when Elias Roman got wrecked out by lap traffic, leading to Ken Houseal taking the victory, with Ryan Carwile and Murphy Nichols making up the rest of the podium. Incredible racing, folks!

This week is a non-points race with Thanksgiving week, we wanted folks to be able to visit their family and be thankful they didn’t need to stress about their championship! Our drivers are visiting Australia at the classic Oran Park Raceway to drive the smallest car iRacing offers, the Ford ’34 Legends Coupe. The hectic heat racing format is back for this week, and it’s looking like it will be a blast! Tune in with your family and show off your virtual racing exploits on Thursday over everyone’s favorite feast.
