DMV Region Q4 HH & JR Going-Away Party

UPDATE 10/19 – Please come join us for this special Happy Hour, as we wish DMV Region member John R as great going-away party. He is moving to Austin, TX in November and transferring to our Southern States region. Come see John before he leaves!

All of us have been affected from COVID-19 throughout this year. Thankfully, some of the restrictions have lifted throughout the year, and we have been able to get some track days in, as well as have our annual Summer Bash at Pitt Race for the first time. We have yet to have any happy hours though, so something I am proposing is a bit of a mix of things.

A bit of a happy hour, a bit of a holiday celebration, and a bit of an end of year get-together for our region. I am suggesting that we get together at Linganore Wine Cellars on Friday, Oct 30th. This is one of their “Music Day’s” events, so they will be open for it from 5-8pm, they will have live music and a food truck on site. If you have never been there, they have a huge site, where we could take over a portion. In addition, with this being right before Halloween, we could turn this into a club family Halloween event for all of the families. Each family could set up their own site with whatever they feel comfortable with in regards to COVID, and we could give something back to the kids of the families in the club, and whomever else on site decided they wanted to venture over. If you aren’t aware, Linganore has both a winery and a brewery, so could meet both sides of the adult beverage scale.
