Moving away is always a hard thing to do. But moving from one of GTM’s biggest regions to taking over the Southern States region has been a challenge. There’s lots of great folks in the region but geographically everyone is really spread out compared to the Mountain and DMV regions of GTM that I’m used to. We start around Dominion Raceway in Fredericksburg, VA and journey through all “The Florida Man” stories and across to the COTA in Austin, TX.
After being in Richmond area for about year now, it was time to take the first step and “check out the scene.” I decided to attend the Richmond-area Cars & Coffee for the first time. And, I think I might have found my people? …or at least some new GTM recruits! Time will tell. I look forward to going to more C&C in this area and meeting new petrol-heads. Check out some of the cars that were in attendance.
