Not a museum, it’s an Experience.

The CEO’s of Toyota USA aren’t fans of the word “Museum” they would prefer to call the display area at the ground floor of the Toyota USA Headquarters in Dallas, TX an “Experience Center.” I’ve been very fortunate that my day job affords me the time to stop-in, visit, and learn more about Toyota’s great history in the automotive industry. Check out some of my photos below.

Even though the Toyota Experience Center (TEC) has been open and operational for a while, the video below from the Dallas Morning News does a great job of capturing the entirety of the 44,000 square feet of display space and summarizing it’s purpose.

Even though many people might quickly associate Toyota with the Camry or the Tundra upon first thought, there’s so much rich history interspersed in Toyota’s line up. Right now, with the continued evolution and success of Gazoo Racing (GR) Team, Toyota finds itself with some of the hottest hatches (GR Yaris and Corolla, etc) and sports cars (GR Supra and GT86) on the market. Look to your latest track event and see how many more Toyota’s are out there dicing it up with you, or tune into Break/Fix’s Drive Thru news where they cover all the latest development’s from Toyota. The days of this boxy beauty below are long gone. And if you haven’t been paying attention to Toyota, you really should be.

If you’d like to plan a visit to the Toyota Experience Center, here’s all the details you need.
