The Opequon Creek bridge on Old Charlestown Road, west of Summit Point, is CLOSED and will remain so until November 25. The existing low, one-lane bridge, which is prone to flooding, is being replaced with a higher, two-lane bridge.
If you usually travel from that direction or stay at hotels near I-81 and Route 11, please be aware that your commute to the track will be significantly longer. You will need to detour south to Route 7, then east to Crumms Church Road, and finally back north, or choose another alternate route. For the location of the bridge, follow this link
