"Latton Lads Racing" -- There are actually three brothers; Steve, Me (the good looking one!) and our older brother Les, who was with us at Shenny last year and helped with the "tricycle" Mini repair. Well, all three of us went to the same "Latton Bush Comprehensive School", what in the US is called a High School.  It was at the edge of an ancient parish in our home town called "Latton" which dates back to the first century A.D.  Our home town is not, mind you, what one would call "quaint".  Actually the epithet "pit" might be more apt, to be honest! The "Lads" piece comes from an old English colloquialism. -- A "lad" is a bit of a gentlemanly reprobate...someone who tries harder at having fun than at more academic pursuits...you know the type...mostly harmless...someone who knows more about Snooker (a game like Pool), darts, beer and Soccer (nee Football) than life's more valuable activities. Fits us to a "T"! -- The "Racing" bit is a little "tongue-in-cheek".  We are just PDX'ers and TT'ers...you know, amateur schmucks, but the whole thing just rolls off the tongue, don't you think?  Plus, no one knows what the heck it means.  Just a little bit of fun!
